Story Time with Students: Jesus Helps Santa

By Abby

4th Grade

Once there was a fat, jolly man. His name was Santa Claus. He wanted to go for a test run in his red, shiny, old sleigh. So he went.

It was really cold out there. Mrs. Claus came too. There was a full moon. The reindeers — Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donnor, Blitzen and Rudolph — were so cold.

When he was in the sky, Santa’s sleigh began to blink a light that showed low fuel. Santa was scared. Would he crash land? Mrs. Claus suggested to just turn around.

Santa said, “You’re right.”

So, they turned around and went back. Frosty the Snowman and the elves were curious why Santa had turned around. Santa’s sleigh broke down and everyone was so so so so so so so so so so so sad.

Santa asked the mechanic what was wrong.

“It won’t be done in time for Christmas,” the mechanic said.

Santa was upset. “What was going to happen?” He thought.

But then he heard his elf singing about trusting in Jesus.

“Who is Jesus?” Santa asked.

The elf said, “He’s is your savior.”

Santa said, “Can Jesus help me?”

“Yes, he can,” said the elf.

Santa was shocked and wondered about Jesus.

His elf said, “He wills ave you if you believe in him.”

Santa asked Jesus if the sleigh would be done before Christmas AND IT CAME TRUE!

Trust in Jesus.

Santa (with Jesus’s help) saved Christmas.
